I began in photography using my dad's film SLR while I took my one and only photographers class in high school.   I didn't realize at the time how much of a shutterbug gene my dad passed down to me.   The start of my professional career has come about slowly as I meld all the things I love into the art of photography.  In 2012 we decided to begin our own Helicopter operation and we began to travel as modern day gypsies, in a fifth wheel, traveling both the United States and internationally for 6 years.  However, the real kick off point was in 2013, when I began photographing helicopter operations in California while out on large transmission line construction projects.   Since then I have photographed for magazines, advertisers, micro-stock, private companies and individuals.  Our lifestyle has afforded me the opportunity to capture many wonderful places that so many never get the opportunity to experience.

In 2018 we welcomed our first and only daughter into the world and we have been trying to settle down ever since.  Although my hometown is Salem, Oregon we now call the Idaho Panhandle home.  I have been on professional hiatus for the last 3 years and am looking forward to sharing some of the many wonderful moments I have captured with our family and the furry friends we call family.   I also look forward to sharing more images from my vast catalog as I sit down to start editing the images our incredible life.

I have a passion for equestrian sports, real estate, old stuff, motorcycles, aviation and of course the great outdoors.   All of these things continue to be an area of interest and tend to become subjects of creativity for me and my lens.   Today, with the encouraging support of my husband, I use light to capture an image with my Nikon DSLR.  Using editing programs, I make what I see through my lens, into an individual piece of art.

I look forward to sharing my vision with you.
